EAA
Oshkosh AirVenture 2003 - Oshkosh, Wisconsin
6 EAA members from Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand made their way to the
"Mecca of Aviation"...Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They joined 150 EAA members from S.Africa in a special camping spot and enjoyed a whole week of airplanes, airplanes and moreairplanes!
(about 14 000 of them)
This year was very special as this is the Centennial Year of Flight and the 50th anniversary of EAA's founding. Chalkie Stobbard, good friend from S.Africa, joined us at Oshkosh by flying all the way from S.Africa in his home built RV-6.
Former EAA Malaysia member, Walter Vollmers from North Dakota joined the gang at Oshkosh in his Motor-Home. We hope more members will make this unforgetable trip in the years to come. Join us in 2004!
